SRK: Thy name is stunt!
I was feeling quite a bit of anger for the last 4 days. This is perhaps the best example to start and explain this 'finger' concept. In fact I must give the title of 'Public finger' to the 'public figure' who has started all this. Selection for IPL teams was over. Everything had been decided and nothing was left to be done. Being the owner of a team, he himself did not hire any Pakistani player. Only God knows the reason..
So what was the need to speak at this time that the Pakistani players should have been taken? But our great 'public figure' Mr. SRK did that: "The fingering!" He knew exactly what was going to happen after that. That exactly happened. Shiv sena started jumping. Suddenly every newspaper, every news channel, everyone started showing 'my name is...my name is...', even the films clippings etc. free of cost which they would have otherwise charged crores of rupees. Some even ventured into history and made a full-fledged half an hour program about SRK+Kajol+Karan films together etc. and showed it several times in a day, entirely free of cost! Let the city burn but SRK and party were having a party time.
He got what he wanted. Let the peace of the country go to hell! Let the property worth crores may burn. Let the people die which was a possibility in such situations and the mob movements.
He writes at twitter that his being an Indian is unquestionable; that his integrity is unquestionable. So we take his words and not question it. But the finger is certainly questionable. We are raising a question over it. His words may not be constitutionally or legally wrong. Some may even argue that morally or ethically these are not wrong (we shall have debate over it certainly), but what about the timing of the need of such comments. Can't people keep quiet?
We at Newsjyoti shall never be biased. The party 'Shiv sena' who did this hooliganism shall certainly be at the receiving end in our another section 'Jalikati.com or kharikhoti.com', but the one who started this needless controversy should first be given this 'covetted designation' of a 'public finger'.
We shall search for more public fingers. Believe me, we have plenty at least in our country. If you find one, please let us all know. At the end of the year, from among all those 'public figures', we shall together decide the greatest 'public finger' of the year.
